About the Organizers:
Eric Sheninger is a Senior Fellow and Thought Leader on Digital Leadership with the International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE), and one of the original founders of the Edscape Conference. He also maintains a presence as a practitioner by serving as the K-12 Director of Technology and Innovation in the Spotswood School District (NJ). Prior to this he was the award-winning Principal at New Milford High School. Under his leadership his school became a globally recognized model for innovative practices. Eric oversaw the successful implementation of several sustainable change initiatives that radically transformed the learning culture at his school while increasing achievement.
Eric’s vision and leadership in creating and growing the Edscape Conference has helped to make it an essential destination for educators from New Jersey and beyond to gather and share ideas about transforming the classroom.
Promedia is the main organizational and management arm of the Edscape Conference. Our goal is to provide the most relevant presentation content and the best possible attendee experience at Edscape.
On an everyday basis, we’re a leading integrator of the technologies that impact New Jersey’s schools. For over 20 years, Promedia has helped schools to build their technology plans and put solutions in place that enable teachers & students. Over the years, we’ve grown from designing and supporting the infrastructure that powers your schools to engaging with technologies that affect real learning in the classroom.
Our suite of 21st Century Learning solutions aim to promote digital literacy as well as interaction and engagement between students and teachers. Mobile device optimization, collaboration technology, and modular furniture that encourages open communication are just a few of the impactful solutions we see having an effect in today’s classroom. It’s our goal to help NJ’s schools navigate the wide variety of classroom applications and platforms and have a positive impact in the world of education.
The Woodbridge Township School District is the generous host of Edscape Conference 2015! We’re thrilled to have Woodbridge on the Edscape team and thankful to be able to use their excellent facilities to host the conference.
Woodbridge is a natural fit to host the Edscape Conference, as evidenced by the ideals in their mission statement:
“Our mission is to develop, through a technology-infused curriculum, life-long learners who are responsible citizens prepared to make positive contributions to the global society. We are committed to engaging all members of the community in the process of providing a learning environment that fosters interdependence, embraces change and values diversity.”
Thanks to Superintendent Robert Zega, Ed.D., Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction John Bader, and the entire Woodbridge Township Board of Education.
